Bronzed: My Top 5 Bronzers

I'm a make-up and skincare junkie, so I thought I'd start a new "Top 5" series on the blog sharing my favourite beauty products with you. This week, I'm sharing my top 5 favourite bronzers. I don't think I would feel like my routine was complete without bronzer. It just adds a healthy glow and dimension back to the face after you've completed your base, and makes you look so fresh. These are my top picks.

1. Milk Makeup Matte Bronzer in 'Baked'

My number one favourite bronzer. I tend to prefer creamy bronzers as they end up looking more natural on me. Milk has 2 versions of this bronzer. Baked is for paler complexions, and Blaze is for deeper skin tones. It's creamy, hydrating, blends like an absolute dream, has no shimmer, and it's FAST. I love the stick form of the packaging - it's the perfect tool for the 5-minute make-up girl.

2. Charlotte Tilbury Bronze + Glow

One of my all-time favourite powder bronzers. This is a luxury item, but worth it. The bronzer is not too warm where you run the risk of looking like an oompa-loompa, but also not too cool or grey where you are getting into contouring territory. It's the perfect neutral shade. The highlighter in this palette is also a lovely subtle, golden-champagne colour that looks beautiful on any skin tone.

3. *NARS Laguna Liquid Bronzer

I tend to use this one in the summer months. It's the liquid version of the ever popular NARS Laguna bronzer. It's a very watery consistency and a little goes a long way. Using your fingers or a Beauty Blender, it blends seamlessly on the skin. Like the original Laguna powder, the liquid also has some shimmer in it, but I find this does not translate on the skin. This liquid is no-fuss which is why I love it. You can also mix it with your makeup base for a healthy glow. BONUS: it lasts all day.

4. Glossier Cloud Paint in 'Dusk'

Not really considered a bronzer at all, but I use it as such. The Glossier Cloud Paints are actually blushes, but they are so versatile. Dusk is a lovely earthy-toned blush that lays down matte so is a great option if you need to multi-task your make-up items and warm up your look.

5. *Benefit Hoola Bronzer

This is probably the first "real" bronzer I ever bought from Sephora. It's a classic. It's matte, not too orange and now even comes in a lighter shade for those of the more pale variety (Hoola Lite). It's perfect on the cheeks, on the eyes, and I find is neutral enough for a bronzy contour if you're feeling it.
